Oil on canvas 70x90cm. This painting was done from life, under natural light, at Charles H. Cecil Studios in Florence, Italy and took about 5 weeks to complete. I worked together with the model, Alessandro, to design the pose and costume in a way that we felt was beautiful to look at and told the story of a character. I used the same techniques and materials as learned from the Old Masters such as Titian and Van Dyck.
